A lot of the time, people talk about weddings with dread or sarcasm. They mention how overwhelming weddings are, how stressful weddings are, and how expensive weddings are.
It’s true, they can be all those things, but they are also magical, exciting and full of love. You didn’t just decide to throw this party to spend a bunch of money, but instead because you want to stand in front of your nearest and dearest and tell them how much you love the person you are marrying. You want to point at them and say, “That one? They’re off the market now, because they are mine!”
Maybe you won’t say it like that, but weddings are about sharing an amazing day with your tribe, and my task in all of this is to capture this incredible day for you to cherish forever.
I’ve been capturing special moments since 2012, and I still have the same enthusiasm as I did the very first wedding I photographed.

Let’s get to know each other and see if we are a good fit! We'll hop on a phone call or we can meet in person! We’ll discuss the date, details, and what you’re looking for.

After the contract is signed and paid, we’ll discuss and photograph your engagement session.

We will discuss your final timeline a few weeks before, and get everything together. When the special day arrives, everything is all set to enjoy the moment! We'll help out where ever needed.

After the big day, you will receive your photos in an online gallery where you can purchase prints, and on a rose gold and crystal USB drive in a linen box.

When is the best time to book?
The best time to inquire about wedding dates is at least 6-8 months before your special date. Photographers tend to book up fast, and fall dates usually book the fastest.
What is due to book?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is due to secure your wedding date.
When will I receive my photos?
Wedding galleries are sent 12-14 weeks after your wedding. (not including holidays or weekends)
Do you offer prints?
Yes! Prints of all sizes and other products can be ordered through your online gallery.
Can I purchase additional USBs?
Additional USBs can be purchased separately for $100.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, we do travel! Our travel fee is $45 after the first 2 hours from the venue (round trip). We will travel up to 5 hours for any local wedding. Other fees may apply depending on distance.
Do you offer a second photographer?
A second photographer can be added for $300.
What if we only need a photographer for a couple hours and not the whole day?
No problem! Hourly rates of $350/hour are available for you if needed.
Do you also do engagement photos?
Yes! Engagement sessions are complimentary for any wedding package.
Can I have RAW images?
No. Raw or unedited images are never given out. Only images edited and in jpeg format will be given.
Can I add hours to my package?
Hours can be added on packages except the full day package.
Have you photographed many weddings?
Yes, I have photographed over 50 weddings with a few dozen more scheduled for 2024 and beyond!
What happens if the photographer is sick or unable to shoot?
An associate photographer will be sent in place but all images will be edited by Sweet Scales Photography.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, I have 2 cameras as well as multiple lenses, batteries, memory cards and duplicates of everything needed to shoot full day events.
What gear do you use?
Nikon D850, Nikon D850, Tamorn 24-70, Tamron 70-200, Nikkor 50mm, Nikkor 85mm, Sigma 105mm, Sigma 24mm, Special effects lenses and filters.

We travel all across the US! Prices vary for travel depending on how far the location is from homebase.
Yes, we do travel! Our travel fee is $150 after the first 2 hours from the venue. We will travel up to 5 hours, one way, for any local wedding. Other fees may apply depending on distance.
Second shooters can be added to any package for $350/ all day or $30/hour.
No problem! Hourly rates of $375/hour are available for you if needed.
